What we do

Alongside custom chrome and other electroplating services, we provide restoration of chrome parts from stripping to surface rebuilding, repairs and polishing.

Chrome is not the only finish customers ask for. Coloured metallic wheels, gold plated hubcaps, zinc plated brackets and fittings, and silver plated headlight reflectors are all common requests.

Rechroming is not an exact science; every part or substrate needs a tailored approach. Zinc die-cast parts, commonly affected by corrosion, often need careful rebuilding before a lasting plated finish can be achieved.

We are based in Mount Cotton, Queensland, with customers right around Australia and some overseas, supported by efficient shipping and transport options. Parts must be fully dismantled before you bring them in; keep any pieces that do not need plating or treatment at home or in your workshop.

Where possible, bring or send only the parts that need polishing, plating or surface treatment. Fully dismantled parts are easier to assess and finish properly.
